Day 4 jury duty.

Ugh. Wouldn't be able to handle being sequestered. Can't wait for this to be over. Friday is my usual day off but I'm at court today. The beginning of a holiday weekend. This blows. At least we won't have to report back til Tuesday next week.

Day 3 of jury duty

So starting day 3 of jury duty. Really puts a dent in my workouts. Still trying to eat as healthy as I can. Down to 298.8lbs this morning. I'm sitting outside starbucks at 7 :25am in downtown Las Vegas. It's already 80 and no clouds in the sky. Court house doesn't open til 7:30am. I'll wait a bit and go in. Can't talk about the case, but it's interesting.

Day 1 Jury Duty

Weighed in at 301.2lbs this morning. Not bad but ate crap last night. I start today as a potential juror for US district Court. This is by far the easiest ones I've had to do. Jury selection is a 1 day process and cases can be done the same way. I was selected once before and was done in one day. Easy cases, usually open and shut, only reason it goes to trial... due process. Won't be eating much today so hopefully I won't over do it tonight.

Beginning of the Journey

Current Body Weight:  302# Today begins the first day of the rest of my life. I have made the conscience decision to lose at least 67 lbs of body weight by May 29th, 2018.  That should put me at a body weight of 235 lbs. That is what i believe will be a healthy weight for me. I have a doctor appointment and physical on June 16th next month. I will be trying to lose weight with a combination strength training, cardio and the Paleo way of eating. I am starting my new life with 30 day Paleo diet. 3 meas a day eating the Paleo way. from there I will continue or modify to the more restrictive Keto Diet. I am going to try to do 4 days of circuit training a week along with walking as much as possible. I will use my fitbit to try to achieve 10k steps a day minimum with a goal of 12k a day. I will also be trying to log my food.  This is for me, my wife and my son. I have to stay around for them.
